Practicalitities


You can get to Cape Cod MA, and buy a Car, train, or bike even. Depending on where you live or are located when starting your journey. You can take a plane however the closest airport is in Falmouth- Falmouth Airpark-5B6. There’s also “Cape Cod Gateway Airport.” It is a regional airport, that’s located on Barnstable Rd, Hyannis, MA. With, since that is the closest airport to the edge of The Cape. You will have to find a different type of transportation to get to the edge/tip which is in Provincetown.

You Can of curse also get around by car. However, there are a few fun ways to get around. For example, Biking.

Biking around Cape Cod. Biking is a huge way of transportation in cape cod. Most roads are biker friendly along with many, bike trails. 

            Cape Cod Rail Trail is a 25-mile road paved path bike trail. The bike trail lets you go through the towns of, Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Orleans, Eastham, and Wellfleet.

            Through my years of going to cape cod. It’s a must that my family does every single time to go on the bike trail. Since my dad loves Biking. I have grown up to love biking too. Biking is also a fun and easy way to get exercise into a vacation.  Also, many people ride their bikes to get to the beaches. at least 45% of people in cape cod use bikes as a main way of transportation.

If you don’t own a bike or did not bring it on vacation with you. There are many places you can rent a bike from. For example, Idle Times Bike shop in Eastham.

To get to Martha’s Vineyard. You must take a Ferry. One of the main options is, The Island Queen Ferry.

The Island Queen ferry, Is open only during the season. So, it’s available during the summer, the opening day is Friday, May 26, 2023. It’s a passenger-only service between Falmouth and Oak Bluffs.
